Detached villa. c1830 Portland Estate St John's Wood villa development. Stucco;
slate roof. Cottage Orne Tudor-Gothic. Half-H plan. 2 storeys and basement.
3 windows wide with window wings flanking central entrance bay. 4-centred
arch open porch, approached by steps, with drip moulds and enriched spandrels,
weather coped parapet with ball flower ornament; mullioned-transomed casement
to 1st floor above and eaves raised in small openwork bargeboarded gable. Wings
have mullioned-transomed bay windows on ground floor, as canted oriel with
shaped pent roof to right and flat fronted to left; mullioned-transomed 1st
floor casements with drip moulds; wing gables with openwork bargeboards. Small
left hand recessed wing (former gig house?) with one cross-mullioned window
over garage doors. Similar villa type to the adjoining Eyre Estate.
