House of circa 1600 and earlier. H-plan with front elevation roughcast and
painted. South crosswing with brick front in English-bond and Dutvch gable.
Two windows, one over one, with stone mullions and transoms - ovolo moulded.
Front of hall has a door in an eared and pedimented timber case. Hall windows
one over one, iron casements in timber mullions and transoms, one small casement
to right on first storey. North crosswing has windows one over one, pairs of
casements with transoms. Roofs ridged and gabled, pegtiled. Hall chimney stack
with 3 diagonal shafts of red brick. Later red brick chimney stack against
north crosswing. (RCHM 7).
