GV II
House and barn. Probably C17, altered C18. Coursed marlstone rubble with wooden
lintels; thatch roof with brick and rendered stacks. L plan. 2 storeys.
Irregular 4-window front has small canted bay windows in bays one and 2 flanking
a segmental-arched window which was formerly a doorway, and at first floor has a
2-light casement and a 12-pane sash with heavy glazing bars; right bay has a
6-panel door plus a 2-light casement, and has a pair of 2-light casements at
first floor. Roof has stacks to both gables and to right of centre. A lower
service bay abuts the left gable wall. The right gable wall has a small casement
and returns to a short rear wing which is probably a later addition. A thatched
