1834. It consists of a centre portion of 4 storeys and 3 windows and slightly
recessed wings of 3 storeys and 1 window each. Stringcourse above the 1st floor.
Cornice and parapet above the wings, the cornice continued across the central
portion. Round-headed windows in the 2nd floor of the wings. Glazing bars missing.
Cornice and parapet above the centre portion supporting 2 shields surmounted by
a crown and flanked by figures of a lion and a unicorn. The building has been
altered by the addition of 2 large bays on the ground floor and a continuous domed
glass verandah built out above them on the first floor.
Nos 58 to 6l (consec) and pavement form a group.
