House. Late C17, datestone J./C./1777 refers to alterations; restored C20.
Squared coursed limestone with Collyweston slate roof. Originally 3-unit plan. 2
storeys with attic. 3-window range of C19 style casements under renewed wood
lintels, C20 door, to left of centre, also under renewed wood lintel. Pair of
hipped roof dormers, one has leaded casement. Ashlar end stacks with moulded
cornices. Datestone between first floor windows, to left. Left gable has large
projecting chimney breast and a 2-light stone mullion window, with chamfered
mullions, at first floors. Rear elevation has two, 2-light, stone mullion
windows with chamfered mullions and one 3-light ovolo-moulded stone mullion
window. C18 extension to rear left. Interior not inspected but noted as having
stop-chamfered spine beams and probably has remains of open fireplaces.
