Manor house. C17 origins, mainly late C18, probably altered by T.F. Pritchard
and remodelled mid C19. Squared coursed limestone with Collyweston slate roof.
Double-depth plan. 2 storeys with attic. Main front is 5-window range. 3 bays to
right are sash windows with glazing bars and plain ashlar surrounds. 2 bays to
left have plain C19 sash windows with arch-head eaves dormers at first floor.
Said to have 6-panel door to right with radiating fanlight in large shallow
arched recess and Doric pilasters flanking door and half pilasters in angles of
recess. 3 roof dormers to right have shallow arch heads. Hipped roof has ashlar
stacks at ridge, with moulded cornices. 2 bays to left probably remodelled mid
C19. Elevation to right of main front is a 4-window range of sash windows with
glazing bars and plain ashlar surrounds similar to main front. Elevation to left
of main front is a 2-window range similar to the left side of the main front.
