Mid C19; terrace of houses; restrained classical style. Stucco. Three storeys and
basement. Ground floor has horizontal grooving and each house an Ionic porch. The
continuous cast iron crinoline shaped balcony folds in and out over the porticos.
First floor windows with bracketted cornices and occasional pediments. The top floor
windows have cambered heads. Nos 6, 7 and 12 set forward with tripartite windows.
No 12 incorporates the addresses 53, 55 and 57 Old Brompton Road.
