House, late C18. Dressed stone, stone slate roof. 2 storeys and attic.
Plinth, modillion eaves cornice, coped gables with stacks. 3-bay symmetrical
facade. Doorway has architrave, pulvinated frieze and triangular pediment.
Over is tall rectangular window with coloured margin glazing. Tripartite sash
windows to each floor, altered glazing. Left hand return wall has doorway with
architrave entablature frieze and cornice. Over is simple sash with Venetian
window to attic. Rear has 7-light flat-faced mullion window with mullions
slightly recessed and having an inner chamfer with same over to 1st floor.
Concave eaves cornice. Lean-to covers doorway with chamfered surround. Right
hand return wall has tripartite window to each floor. Lean-to has double
chamfered mullioned and transomed window of 2 over 4 lights of C17 character
under which is 2-light and 3-light window to cellar with cavetto mullion and
surround, probably reused.
