Fisher's Farm

Former bakehouse. Probably C16 or C17, with later alterations. Mixture
of very thin red brick and thicker brick, in English and irregular
bonds. Hipped plain tile roof. L-shaped with open-fronted range of 5
x 2 bays at front and bakehouse in 2-bay wing to rear left. Windows
are C20 small-pane casements. South elevation; timber posts on
padstones carry wall plate. Within; board door in wood frame to
bakehouse on left; well; donkey-wheel on right. Brick paving, that on
left (in front of door) of thin red brick, with flint paving on right
incorporating circular donkey path. Bakehouse inside, has stone and
brick paved floor; large fireplace across front right corner with
bread-ovens and set-pot; collared roof truss with inward-raking
braces; old rafters.
