House. Circa 1815. Brown brick. Two storey and dormers. Symmetrical with 2 two-
window segmental bays, and good central doorway with recessed pilasters. Stucco
basement, band at 1st floor window level and small cornice. Square headed sashed
windows retaining glazing bars. Area railings. W M Thackeray lived here 1846-1854
(LCC plaque).
