GV II


House. Mid C18. Squared coursed limestone with thatch roof. Irregular T-shape
plan. 2 storeys. Main front of 4 bays with gabled cross wing breaking forward to
left of centre. 2-window range, to right, of C19 casements under wood lintels.
Similar casements under eyebrow dormers to attic. Central C19 four-panel door,
between window range, under wood lintel. Similar casement windows in return wall
of cross-wing. Bay to far right has blocked openings. Ashlar gable parapets and
kneelers and ashlar stack with moulded cornices to right gable. Brick stack at
ridge. Single-storey outbuilding attached to far left now forms part of house.
Interior has remains of 3 open fireplaces with bressumers. Part of this building
was used for a time as a public house.
