Remains of stable yard comprising north entrance, walling and central well head.
1852. Italian Renaissance style. Semi-circular arched entrance: Yellow brick,
stone and stucco embellishment. Banded rustication to supports and arch, brick
dentil course to springing with scrolled consoles above. Stucco roundels in
spandrels, cornice with dentil course. Iron gates. Curved walling on either
side of entrance, twin blank arches to each section, piers with 4-faced, semi-
circular headed ornamental finial blocks. At the west end is a doorway with
rusticated surround, Square well head : lower part yellow brick, upper part stone;
stucco mouldings. Rusticated semi-circular arch to each face of lower section,
carved keystones, roundels in spandrels. Brick dentil cornice. Pedimented upper
section with fish motifs to each corner.
