Farmhouse, 1850's, of brown brick in Flemish bond with grey slate
roofs. 2 storeys plus attics. Substantial, part of a mid C19 model
farm. Symmetrical front of 3 windows. Glazed door under plain
rectangular fanlight in stone case with moulded cornice. 16-pane
recessed sashes with wedge lintels and stone cills. 2 casements to
attics in each end gable. Large gable chimneys. Broad eaves and
bargeboarded verges. A good example of a simply expressed large
farmhouse of its period, with farm building (q.v.).
