House. Mid C18. Cob now rendered with thatch roof. Originally 2-unit plan. 2
storeys; 2-window range of casements with glazing bars. Ashlar gable parapets
and kneelers and central brick stack. C19 extension to right with C20 door and
slate roof. Interior: 2 rooms to left of entrance have stop-chamfered ceiling
beams; open fireplace to room immediately left of entrance. Original stud screen
at first floor and some original roof timbers. Included as an example of cob
construction.
