SS 22 06 BUDE-STRATTON

Hall. Circa 1830s. Stone rubble with slate roof gabled at ends. Rectangular
plan. Single storey. Symmetrical entrance front on north gable end. Wide timber
double doors under stone arch with semi-circular or round head with keystone.
Later doors have elaborate false strap hinges, and later blind fanlight with
gothic details. Arch flanked by pilasters, further pilasters to left and right in
front corner rising to moulded string below gable. Nowy-headed niche in gable.
Gable has later bargeboarding with pendants. Contemporary 9-bay roof inside with
scissor trusses and pendants.
