Public house. Late C18, with mid C19 alterations and
additions, restored 1989. Brick with colourwashed stucco front
and pantile roofs. Plinth, wooden gutter on brackets, coped
gables, 2 gable stacks. Front windows are glazing bar sashes
with segmental heads. U-plan around rear yard. 2 storeys plus
attics; 5 window range. Above, 3 segment headed dormers.
Below, central segment headed opening with 2-leaf fielded
panelled door and sidelights, with graduated round lights
above. Right gable has blocked garret window. Right rear wing,
2 storeys, 4 window range, has colourwashed ground floor and
coped gable.
