Early C18. L-shaped house. Rendered facade. Wide modillion eaves cornice with
egg and dart moulding between the modillions. Hipped tiled roof with lead ridges.
2 storeys and attic. Main part of building symmetrically designed with 3 windows
and 3 pedimented dormers, the outer pediments segmental. Modern centre glazed
approach to street with 6 panelled door, raised and fielded panels. Southern recessed
wing has 2 windows, including 1 blank and 1 pedimented dormer. All sashes with
glazing bars. Rear or western facade has 3 french casements on each floor and
centre 2 storey bow with domed dormer above. Delicate iron balustrade to verandah
with tiled roof. 2 other dormers (wing and buildings at north side now demolished
and replaced by modern buildings.)
Littlecroft and adjoining house and Elm Cottage (both of local interest) form a
group with Nos 1 to 5 (consec) and Neoncross Boys School and also with the Post
Office on Fishers Hill.
