Later front to a building with a C16 to C17 core. 3-storeys. Colour-washed
rendered cladding to walls of blue lias rubble. Section to left hand of 3-storeys
with slightly higher frontage. Slate hipped roof. On 2nd and 1st floors, sash
windows 5 panes wide. On ground floor, from left to right hand end, a plain
modern door, a half-glazed door with 2-light 2 tier window to right of it, and
4 light, 2 tier shop window to right hand end.
Right hand section with slightly lower frontage is of 3 window bays, with bay
at east end in recession. Slate gabled roof. 2-light wood casements with 3-light
centre window on 1st floor. On ground floor, 2 small plain shop windows with
doorway at either end; ledged doors with glazed panels in upper part.

Nos 42 to 45 (consec) and No 47 form a group with the Guildhall and Nos 4, 4A, 5 & 6
Bridge Street together with No 62 Church Street.
