Cottage. C17 with C18-20 alterations. Timber-framed with painted brick
elevations to south and west, exposed framing with painted brick infilling to
north and brick catslide outshut to east. Thatched hipped roof with brick
stack, off-centre to left and three eyebrow dormers. Three framed bays;
baffle entry plan with 3rd unheated room to right (east). One and a half
storeys. Irregular three window front, casements of C18 and C19 date, with
wide shallow casements interpolated above each ground floor window. Small
C20 outshut with pentice roof to right of front. Entrance with boarded door
in later C20 gabled porch, to left of centre. Interior: Much evidence of
timber-framing. Large fireplace in baffle-entry position.
