House, late C17 or early C18. 1 1/2 storeys and attics; 3-cell plan (the
parlour cell now part of no. 4 Hawstead Lane). Timber-framed and rough-cast
rendered. Thatched roof with gabled casement dormer; axial and gable chimneys
of rendered red brick. C20 small-pane casement and boarded entrance door.
