GV II

House: c1840. Flemish bond orange brick with stone dressings.
Stone-slate roof and 2 brick chimneys. Double pile plan. 2-storey,
symmetrical 3-bay front. Stone cornice and blocking course. End bays
project slightly forward and have recessed semi-circular headed sashes
with glazing bars below, cast-iron baskets with palmettes, on sills.
12-pane sashes with flat gauged and rubbed brick heads above. Central
bay has a heavy Doric porch with half fluted columns. Behind is a
door with glazed panels and a fanlight with vertical glazing bars.
Gables are stone-coped. Small C20 extension to the right.
