Formerly the Manor House. Built circa 1600 and altered in the C18 and later
and restored in the C20 with exposed timber-framing on the front. Two storeys.
Three window range, some double-hung sashes with glazing bars and some C20
casements. Roof tiled, with a coved plaster eaves cornice to the front. On
the south-east side there is an original chimney stack with octagonal shafts,
rebuilt or restored, with modern caps. Originally 8 shafts (now 7). (RCHM 3).
