Farmhouse, cottage and byre. Early C18 with alterations. Thin courses of
squared sandstone with quoins and ashlar dressings; roofs of stone flags and
Welsh slate. Linear plan. 2 storeys, 4 wide bays, and one-storey, one-bay
left byre. 2-bay farmhouse at right has renewed central door in slightly-
chamfered stone surround with alternate-block jambs; rough stone lintels and
sills to top-hung C20 casements. Cottage at left has similar surround to right
end 4-panel door on pin hinges, and similar treatment to 16-pane sash on ground
floor at left, horizontal sliding sash above and 12-pane sashes with broad
glazing bars at right. Roof has stone flags on cottage, Welsh slate on house,
and tall square chimneys at right of each. Byre at left blank to front with
Welsh slate on roof. Rear shows parallel range behind cottage.

Interior: cottage has wide fire cornice and heck post; winder stair at right
of passage beside heck post. Cast iron kitchen range, by Little of Alston, in
plain stone surround recessed under cornice.
