C16 timber-framed and plastered house on an L shaped plan. Considerably restored
and renovated in the C20 when a wing was added at the south-east end. Two
storeys and attics. Modern casement windows with lattice leaded lights.
Roof tiled, with a rebuilt stack with 2 diagonally set shafts. The interior
has exposed timber-framing, ceiling beams and joists (some moulded). (RCHM
