House. Dated 1630, with C20 additions. Coursed and squared large
stone blocks with ashlar dressings; clay tile roof with coped verges;
central brick stack. 2-room lobby-entry plan. 2 storeys and gable
lit attic; 2 windows; 2-light flat-faced mullioned windows replacing
earlier ones; small single light fire window to left of centre with
rebated surround and straight hood mould; central gabled porch with
moulded coping, and returned hood mould to shallow cambered arch
with boarded door, datestone above; moulded eaves cornice. Both
gable ends have a similar fenestration, chamfered mullioned windows
in rebated surrounds, all with straight hood moulds, that to attic
has 3 lights, those to ground and first floors have 4 lights.
