C17 timber-framed and plastered house of 2 storeys with a lower wing of one
storey and attics to the west. The main block has 2 window range, double-hung
sashes with glazing bars and a central gabled porch. The wing has leaded
casements. Roofs tiled. The main block is hipped at the east and west ends
and steeply pitched, with an original hexagonal shafted chimney stack on a
large square base at the west end. (RCHM 10).
