Originally a timber-framed building probably of the C17 but refaced in C19
brick. Short gabled wings project at the north and south ends. Two storeys.
One:three:one window range of double-hung sashes with glazing bars. The outer
windows and the centre window on the ground storey are tripartite. Roof tiled,
with a central cruciform chimney stack on a square base. There is an end
stack at the south end, with 3 square shafts set diagonally. The end gables
have cut and shaped bargeboards. (RCHM 18).
