27/11/1963 St Nary's School)

Formerly infant school now Parish Hall Kitchen: dated 1834. Coursed,
squared, sandstone rubble with sandstone dressings. Stone-coped,
Kerridge stone-slate roof with stone ridge and 2 stone chimneys.
2-storey, symmetrical, 3-bay front (now partly hidden). 2-light,
chamfered mullioned windows under hood moulds and chamfered doorcase
with hood mould contains a framed and boarded pine door. Central
tablet under hood mould reads: "THE ENLARGEMENT of this Building was
Erected BY ELLEN ORFORD, RICHARD ORFORD, THOMAS ORFORD. By whom this
school was Endowed. A.D. 1834".
Interior: Much altered.
