Rectangular bas-relief panel and two formal pools. 1922. Stone panel
sculpted by Epstein representing the character "Rima", from Hudson's
novel "Green Mansions", as a female nude surrounded by birds forming a
diagonally ascending composition. A narrow, long rectangular pool
with stone flagged surround is placed immediately in front of the
panel with a second and similar reflecting pool closer to the
footpath. A noteworthy and "notorious" early work by Epstein.
