Originally a C17 timber-framed and plastered house but much altered and
added to in the C18 and later. There are large modern additions on the
south-west and south-east. The original front was refaced in the C20 with
tiile hung gables and a modern porch. Some of the original part remains and
there is an original chimney stack with diagonal grouped shafts. Roof tiled.
