C17 timber-framed and plastered building on an L-shaped plan. The front has an C18 clockface inscribed "Pettit, Watchmaker, 1778". Two storeys and attics. Three window range of casements. Two six-panel doors, one with a gabled open porch and the other with a cornice. Roof tiled, with a coved eaves cornice and a central chimney stack. (RCHM 14).
