House. Early/mid C18. Sandstone rubble with boulder plinth and ashlar
dressings; roof of stone flags with stone gable coping. 2 storeys, one wide
bay and later right porch. Boarded door with overlight in gabled porch; small
high window in left return. 2-light ground-floor casement and 18-pane sash
above have flat stone lintels and sills; upper window has wide through-stone
over lintel. Gable coping at left rests on rounded, up-tilted kneelers.
Left end chimney is square, with thin string. Left return gable has 2 windows
on each floor, those at left near the corner, and one in the gable peak; many
irregularly-spaced through-stones and 12 prominent corbels below chimney in
wide gable, lower at left.

Lower right attached outbuilding empty and dilapidated at time of survey.

A prominent feature in the landscape.
