Regency Gothic villa. Circa 1820-30. Lined-out render; slate roof concealed
behind a high embattled gable which extends across the whole of the facade with
square ashlar turrets on the corners. 2 storeys and attics. 2- and 3-light
casement windows in moulded mullions and surrounds and under dripmoulds. Central
pointed doorway in moulded surround; Gothic panelled door with lattice glazing to
the upper partVerandah in front of ground floor. Later C19 projecting square bay
to left: ashlar with embattled parapet; 2-light casement windows, under
dripmoulds on ground floor. Set back service wing at far left with glazing bar
sash windows. Interior: the main room has Gothic panelled doors, shutters and
window embrasures.
