14/98 Yew Tree Farmhouse

Farmhouse. Late C17/early C18. Limestone rubble with wooden lintels; Welsh-slate
and plain-tile roof with brick stacks. T-plan. 2 storeys and attic. Right
section of 4-window front has, at first flour, 3 cross windows and at ground
floor a 6-panel door, with rectangular overlight, between large 3-light
casements; left bay has one 3-light casement at first floor and 2 below. All
windows have leaded glazing. Roof is slated at the front and has stacks to both
gables plus a cluster of 3 shafts to left of centre. Rear wing has, facing left,
a further 3-light casement, a large dovecote in chequer pattern within the wall,
and has in the angle a stair projection with a tall leaded cross window.
