with Grove Road
II

Letter box. From 1872. Designed by Penfold. Manufactured by Cochrane and Co of
Dudley, Worcestershire. Red painted cast iron. Hexagonal on plan. Queen Victoria's
monogram below collection-time plate and Royal coat of arms above posting slit;
ogee cap with acorn finial. The box is of the smaller Penfold type.
