Early C17. 2 storeys. 3 windows. Ashlar. Tiled roof. Casement windows of
4-lights with stone mullions and dripstones over. In the centre is a gabled porch
with a 4-centred doorway and a room over. At each end is a stepped chimney breast.
The Ranger's Lodge of Ashburnham Park. This house resembles Court Lodge in the
Parish of Ashburnham (q.v.) and Church Farm in the Parish of Penhurst (q.v.) and is
clearly by the same architect or builder.
