House, now school. Early C18, much extended C19. Rendered, freestone, slate
roofs. Garden front, 2 storey, 7 windows, mainly glazing bar sashes with
pelmets, 2 french doors, string course, cornice, parapet with urns, late C20
single storey extension with statues in niches. Entrance front: 2 storeys,
6 windows, mainly glazing bar sashes, plus 2 in later extension, central
porch, above 2 windows with gothick tracery, cornice, parapet, then 2 pilaster
strips rise to higher cornice and parapet on each side, similar end pilasters.
Interior: garden room panelled, oddly shaped hall, the result of much
rebuilding, has staircase with barley sugar balusters.
