C17 timber-framed and plastered house with the remains of a moat. Built
on an L shaped plan, with additions. Two storeys and attics. Two window
range of casements. A central gabled porch projects on the front. Roof
tiled, half hipped on the north-east and south-west ends, with small gables.
There is a central chimney stack with the upper part rebuilt on an original
base. (RCHM 8).
