Farmhouse. Second quarter of C18 and later. Sandstone rubble with quoins and
ashlar dressings; stone-flagged roof with stone gable copings on curved kneelers;
brick chimneys. 2 builds: 2 storeys, 5 bays, the 2 left being the second build.
Battened plank doors in plain stone surrounds in first and third bays; flat stone
lintels and sills to late C19 sashes above left door and in other bays except over
right door. Quoins to each build. End chimney to each build. Rear one-storey
dull-width outshut with catslide roof.

Interior: dog-leg stair with winders at turn in first build, with plain round-
topped handrail on wide stick balusters; balustrade along first-floor landing.
Doors in first build have 2 or 4 raised and fielded panels, some with H hinges;
corner cupboard in main ground-floor room has shaped shelves. First-floor room
has painted stone corniced chimney-piece with cherub's head on frieze; tapered
fluted pilasters.
