House. Early C16 or earlier with later alterations and additions. Timber framed
and plastered. Red plain tiled roof. Outshot gabled crosswings to right
and left. Three red brick chimney stacks, that to central range with three
octagonal shafts. Moulded eaves cornice to central range. Two storeys. Mainly
Circa 1700 windows and door. 1:3:1 range to first floor, 1:2:1 range to ground
floor, with single range to crosswing outshots, of 2, 3 or 4 light leaded
casements with transoms to central range, small paned vertically sliding sashes
to crosswing. Fine central six panelled door with moulded pilasters, moulded
frieze with upswept centre, moulded segmental head, approached by steps. RCHM
