C18/early C19. Red brick with eaves cornice. Hipped old tiled roof carried down
low to west. Large stack. 2 storeys. South facade has 1 window, modern casements
in former sash spaces. Door with moulded architrave and flat hood above. 2 similar
windows face east down street. This facade red brick with grey headers. Prominent
position facing down street at top of hill.
Nos 49 to 53 (odd) and Nos 57 to 73 (odd) with Nos 36 to 44 (een) form a group
(Nos 42 and 44, Nos 53, 57 and 73 are buildings of local interest).
