Early C19 terrace. Red brick with grey headers and brick eaves cornice. Plaque
at lst floor reads "Place Cottage". Hipped old tiled roof. 2 storeys. 4 windows,
sashes with glazing bars, ground floor windows with cambered head linings. Modern
flat hoods added over doors.
No 10 and its garage (the former village Forge) form a group with Nos 12 to 22
(even).
