GV II

House. Circa 1700. Grey brick with red brick dressings, in Minster
bond (garden wall bond variant) with plain tiled roof. Two storeys
and attic on high ragstone and galletted plinth, the red brick forming
pilaster strips and quoins, with brick dogtooth eaves cornice to roof
with hipped dormer and stacks to left and to right. Five wooden
casements on 1st floor and 4, segmentally headed, on ground floor.
Central door of 6 panels, the top 2 glazed. Catslide outshot to rear
with gabled rear wing Replaced an ancient manorial moated site about
100 metres to the east.
