GV II

House. C16 or earlier, clad and extended c.1800. Timber framed and
clad and extended with red brick, with tile hanging to return
elevations. Plain tiled roof. Two storeys to roof, hipped and stepped
down to left to hipped roof with gablet. Stacks to end right and,
clustered, to left Wooden casement to left on 1st floor and tripartite
sash to ground floor, the right hand (c.1800) wing with regular
fenestration of 2 tripartite sashes with gauged heads on each floor.
Very fine central doorcase to right hand section, with reeded and fluted.
Doric columns, cornice block with oval medallions, and open pediment
with guttae. Door of 6 raised and fielded panels in panelled surround.
