Front of circa 1730 to building of earlier origin. Large red brick house.
Central pedimental gable. Moulded stone cornice and Victorian brick parapet
and gabled dormers with finials. Steep pitched slate roof with gable ends.
Two storeys and attic. Nine windows, 18-pane sashes (mostly renewed) with
flush boxing. Moulded brick stringcourse at first floor level. Central
door with rectangular fanlight, broken pediment and Corinthian columns.
Rendered and castellated Victorian bay on left hand return. Stone wing
at rear with late C19 tower with lantern.
