2. (Nos 4 & 4A one house) Part of same row as Nos 1 & 2. Three houses of three storeys with pilasters, frieze, cornice and blocking course and with addition of first floor, block sill course. One window No 3, 2 to Nos 4 & 5. Recessed sash windows (except for modern casement second floor No 3) with glazing bars intact, block sills. Three light bay windows on first floor, placed to East on Nos 4 & 5, recessed into wall. Sashes, glazing bars intact on No 3, pilaster strips, carried down into apron on No 4. Frieze and projecting cornices. Modern shop front to No 3. No 4 retains frame of mid Cl9 shop front with frieze and cornice supported by fluted pilasters dividing 2 windows and flanking side doors. The liner part of the windows have plate glass but retain four upper lights with marginal glazing bars. Panelled risers below. No 4 (doorway to left) retains lower panel but the rest is glazed. Rectangular fanlight over with marginal glazing bars. No 4A (to right) has original three panelled door and same fanlight as No 4.

Nos 1 to 5 (consec) form a group.
