Exterior late C17 but V.C.H says that part of the house dates from the C16. Red
brick with wide modillion eaves cornice and hipped tiled roof. Stringcourse above
ground floor. 2 storeys, 5 windows, casements, Porch of solid type, which has
been added, with tent shaped roof above and wrought iron panels flanking the front
door. Long ranges of outbuildings recessed at both sides. Now a school.
