Detached farmhouse. C17 origins. Local lias stone cut and squared; thatched roof between stepped coped gables; brick
chimney stacks. Two-storeys with attic; 4 bays, of which bay 1 projects under catslide roof. Chamfered string between
floors; 2 light small-pane casement windows, with lower window only bay 1 and no upper window bay 2; lower bay 2 has
6-panel door with glazed toplight; exposed timber lintols to all openings. Gable attic window to west, lean-to against
east gable. Inside, deep chamfered cross- beams with curved step runouts, cambered arched timber beamed fireplace. (VAG
