GV II

Farmhouse. Core probably of late C17, rebuilt and enlarged
probably by Lewis Vulliamy in mid C19; restored and enlarged to
rear and right in C20. Random coursed stone with flush quoins,
stone slate roof, ashlar end stacks with twin square flues, offset
and moulded cornice. L-plan with C20 ranges in angle and to
right, 2 storeys and attic to main front range, 2 storeys to rear.
Near symmetrical composition with 4 bays, 2 gables forming full
dormers to each end with 2-light stone mullions with plain
casements. First floor has 3 and 2-light to each side and ground
floor has 4 and 2-light, with right hand 2-light replaced by half-
glazed door. Blocked stone lights from original building on left
hand return.
