Corner public house. Late C18 or early C19 rebuild with mid C19 and some C20 alteration. Painted brick and stucco dressings, slate roof.

Three storeys and dormered mansard. One window to St. Martin's Lane and three window return to New Row. Public house frontage to ground floor with corner entrance in simplified pilaster frame with entablature-fascia. Upper floors with recessed glazing bar sashes in stucco architraves, those to St. Martin's Lane tripartite, articulated by framework of pilaster strips and sill bands, the entablature cut back to parapet face.
